Candidates shall be notified of promotion decisions in writing by the appropriate administrative official within thirty (30) days after submission of the recommendations of the committee.
If a request for promotion is denied, the applicant shall be given the reasons for the decision in writing.
A candidate who does not receive a promotion may reapply at the appropriate time.
A promotion shall require a change in the faculty member's contract for the next academic year.
A candidate for promotion may request review of the recommendation of the college committee on promotions by submitting a written request for reconsideration to the dean within fourteen (14) calendar days after receipt of the recommendation.
