In addition to the protection afforded to all employees under the Worker's Compensation Act of the District of Columbia, the University shall provide a disability plan for all full-time employees.
Coverage under the disability benefits plan shall begin after the employee has completed one (1) year of service.
Pursuant to the provisions of the D.C. Worker's Compensation Act, the sick leave provisions of this chapter shall not take precedence over Worker's Compensation policies as they relate to lost time as the result of work related injuries.
