Rule 8-A102 - VACANCIES IN THE OFFICE OF CHAIRPERSON OR VICE CHAIRPERSON
102.1

Whenever a vacancy occurs in the office of the Chairperson of the Board of Governors, the Vice Chairperson shall assume the office of Chairperson and shall hold the office of Chairperson until the next annual election of officers.

102.2

When the Vice Chairperson assumes the office of Chairperson, or when the office of Vice Chairperson becomes vacant for any other reason, the Board of Governors shall hold a special election to fill the office of Vice Chairperson.

102.3

The special election under § 102.2 shall be held at the next regular monthly meeting of the Board or at a special meeting of the Board held prior to the next regular monthly meeting which is called for the purpose of holding that special election.

102.4

The vacant office of Vice Chairperson shall be filled by majority vote of the full Board.

102.5

The Board member elected to fill the vacant office shall serve until the next annual election of officers.
