An employee assigned to full-time training shall be counted as being in training the same number of hours as in a pay status during the training assignment, up to a maximum of eight (8) hours a day or forty (40) hours a week, unless other laws provide an exemption.
An employee assigned to training on less than a full-time basis shall be counted as being in training the same number of hours spent in instruction and necessary travel.
