Rule 6-C1305 - ESTABLISHING TRAINING PROGRAMS
1305.1

The Attorney General shall develop a policy that governs the training needs of all OAG employees. The policy shall state the purposes for which training will be given and include guidelines that assure:

(a) Training plans and programs are developed to meet the short and long term training needs of OAG;
(b) Provisions are made for the use of funds and personnel in accordance with established priorities for training programs; and
(c) Employee self-development is encouraged by making available, where applicable, reasonable self-study materials promoting and recognizing selfdirected improvement in performance.
1305.2

Training programs established by OAG shall, to the extent feasible:

(a) Meet as many of OAG's short and long term needs as possible;
(b) Permit work assignment flexibility to promote employee growth to increase efficiency in the quality and quantity of work; and
(c) Be fully integrated with other personnel management and operating activities.
