Any person who fails to comply with a Notice to Abate Violation shall be liable to arrest and upon conviction shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be subject to a fine for each offense not to exceed ten thousand dollars ($10,000), or shall be imprisoned for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days, or both, in the discretion of the court in accordance with Section 908(c) of the Rodent Control Act of 2000, effective October 19, 2000 (D.C. Law 13-172; D.C. Official Code § 8-2103.05(c) (2013 Repl.)).
