Any employee, other than a contract employee, may be granted paid leave not to exceed fifteen (15) days in a calendar year. An employee taking military leave must present his or her military orders to the Department Director at least two (2) weeks before departure.
DCHA National Guard and Reservist employees are entitled to not more than twenty-two (22) work days of paid leave in a calendar year pursuant to a national emergency.
