Section 29-36m-5 - Manner of sale, delivery or other transfer of a pistol or revolver(a)Identification requirement. No sale, delivery or other transfer of any pistol or revolver shall be made unless the seller, deliverer or transferor either: (1) Personally knows the purchaser, deliveree or transferee; or(2) Is provided evidence of the identity of the purchaser, deliveree, or transferee in the form of one of the following: (A) A valid motor vehicle operator's license; or(B) An identity card issued pursuant to section 1-1h of the Connecticut General Statutes; or(b)Packaging requirement. When any pistol or revolver is sold, delivered or otherwise transferred, it shall be: (1) Enclosed in a package, the paper or wrapping of which is securely fastened;(3) Free of and not contain any gunpowder, or other explosive or any bullet, ball or shell.Conn.
