Section 1 CCR 301-25-16.0 - Defrosters16.1 A defroster system shall be installed of sufficient capacity to keep the windshield area, the left front side window to the rear of the driver's vision, and the service door glass area free of condensation or ice.16.2 The defrosting system shall conform to the requirements of the Society of Automotive Engineers, Inc. (SAE) J381-202006.16.3 A minimum of one and no more than three adjustable 6-inch auxiliary fans shall be installed to complement the defroster system used by the manufacturer. Such fans shall be controlled individually by two-speed switches located on the control panel.
