(a) Ingredients and articles listed in 9 CFR section 318.6(b)(1) through (12) (2006) shall be used in accordance with section 318.6(a) and (b)(1) through (12). Reference in section 318.6 to section 317.8(b)(3) shall be deemed to refer to section 909.5 of this subchapter.(b) Letters of guarantee obtained from manufacturers and suppliers shall be on file in the official establishment for non-meat ingredients and dairy products that were not produced in a USDA inspected plant or labeled as "Food Grade" or "Food Chemical Codes."(c) Non-meat ingredients shall be identified and labeled at all times prior to use.Cal.
