Section 77104 - Postural Supports(a) Facilities shall have written policies and procedures concerning the use of postural supports.(b) Postural supports shall be designed and applied for speedy removal in case of emergency.(c) Postural supports shall be designed and applied: (1) Under the supervision of a physical or occupational therapist.(2) In accordance with principles of proper body alignment, with concern for circulation and allowance for change of position.(3) To improve a patient's mobility and independent functioning.Cal.
