Section 50.9002 - Appointment of Commissioner as Agent for Service of Process

In accordance with Financial Code Section 31113, each person who becomes an affiliate of a licensee shall, not less than 30 days after becoming an affiliate of such licensee, file with the Commissioner an Appointment of Commissioner of Business Oversight as Agent for Service of Process in the form of Department Form 1020, signed by the affiliate in the name of the affiliate by an officer of the affiliate. The signature of the affiliate on such appointment shall be acknowledged.
