Section 5 AAC 64.051 - Waters closed to sport fishing in the Kodiak AreaIn addition to those waters closed as specified in 5 AAC 64.022(b), the following waters are closed to all sport fishing in the Kodiak Area, as follows:
(1) from January 1 - December 31, that portion of the Pillar Creek drainage upstream from the Monashka Highway;(3) from June 1 - August 31, the waters of the Dog Salmon River from the Frazer Fish Pass Weir downstream to an ADF&G regulatory marker located approximately 200 yards downstream from the weir;(4) from January 1 - December 31, in Big Kitoi Bay, all waters seaward of the terminus of Big Kitoi Creek to a straight line extending northwesterly from 58º 11.43' N. lat., 152º 22.00' W. long., to 58º 11.52' N. lat., 152º 22.07' W. long.; all waters between that line and a line running northwesterly from 58º 11.34' N. lat., 152º 21.66' W. long., to 58º 11.45' N. lat., 152º 21.84' W. long., are closed to sport fishing from August 15 - September 30.(5) from January 1 - December 31, that portion of the Monashka Creek drainage upstream of the ADF & G regulatory markers approximately 50 yards upstream of the Monashka Highway.Eff. 4/20/2002, Register 162; am 4/25/2008, Register 186; am 6/5/2020, Register 234, July 2020; am 4/21/2024, Register 250, July 2024
