Section 660-3-13-.02 - Criteria
(1) In order to qualify as a candidate for the Ten Most Wanted Program, the case must meet the following criteria:
(a) There must be a court order of current support.
(b) No court order entered by default is eligible.
(c) The obligor's location is unknown to the IV-D agency.
(d) The IV-D agency must not have been notified the obligor is involved in bankruptcy proceedings nor have any other agreements prohibiting enforcement actions.
(e) The obligor must not have made a payment or made a payment as a result of income tax refund offset within the previous six months.
(f) The obligor must have known ties to Alabama (i.e. relatives, employment, mailing address).
(g) The obligor must not be a recipient of TANF, SSI, food stamps, or any other type of public assistance.
(h) The amount of arrears must be accurate.
(i) A consent/release form must be signed by the obligee and notarized.
(j) There must be a photograph of the obligor.
