Section 18B-8-6 - Faculty employment practices; campus administrators required to teach or perform researchEach governing board, with the advice and assistance of the faculty senate, shall promulgate and adopt a rule in accordance with section six, article one of this chapter addressing the following issues:
(a) Defining an appropriate balance between full-time and adjunct faculty members and the appropriate role of adjunct faculty; and(b) Requiring each administrator on each campus who holds faculty rank to teach at least one course during each eighteen- month employment period or to perform on-going research in lieu of teaching.Amended by 2011 Acts, ch. 79 (SB 330), eff. 6/10/2011.
