Section 180 - Additional authorityThe Secretary shall have authority as follows:
(1) to collect and diffuse timely information relative to the seasonal supply, demand, and prevailing price of farm products, both wholesale and retail; the movement of farm products through commercial channels; and the quantity and conditions of farm products in dry and cold storage;(2) to assist and advise in the organization and maintenance of producers' and consumers' cooperative selling and buying associations; and(3) to cooperate with various state and federal agencies having to do with farm products.Amended 2003, No. 42 , § 2, May 27, 2003.
