Section 4-202 - Governing body; composition and terms of office(a) There shall be a City Council consisting of five members.(b) All members shall reside within the boundaries of the City of Essex Junction to be elected by the qualified voters.(c) The term of office of a City Councilor shall be three years, and terms shall be staggered.24 Appendix V.S.A. § 4-202
