Section 127-702 - Manager nonpartisan(a) The Manager shall be chosen solely on the basis of his or her executive, administrative, and professional qualifications.(b) The Manager shall not take part in the organization or direction of a political party, serve as a member of a party committee, nor be a candidate for election to any public office.(c) The Manager shall be a resident of the Town of Middlebury, once he or she has been appointed to office.
