Section 76-8-805 - Conspiracy to commit crimes of sabotage(1)(a) If two or more actors conspire to commit a crime under this part and regardless of whether an additional act is done in furtherance of the conspiracy, each actor: (i) is guilty of conspiracy in accordance with Section 76-4-201; and(ii) notwithstanding Section 76-4-202, is subject to the same punishment as if the actor had committed the crime that the actor conspired to commit.(b) It is not a defense or ground of suspension of judgment, sentence, or punishment under this section that an actor's fellow conspirators have been acquitted, have not been arrested or convicted, or are amenable to justice or have been pardoned or otherwise discharged before or after a conviction.(2) Prior to the filing of a formal criminal complaint, evidence of an alleged actor's conduct under Subsection (1)(a) or the name of the actor may not be made public.Amended by Chapter 96, 2024 General Session ,§ 115, eff. 5/1/2024.Enacted by Chapter 196, 1973 General Session
