Section 63G-23-102 - Definitions

As used in this chapter:

(1) "Public official" means, except as provided in Subsection (3), the same as that term is defined in Section 36-11-102.

(2) "Public official" includes a judge or justice of:

(a) the Utah Supreme Court;

(b) the Utah Court of Appeals;

(c) a district court;

(d) a juvenile court; or

(e) the Business and Chancery Court.

(3) "Public official" does not include a local official or an education official as defined in Section 36-11-102.
