Section 26B-5-110 - Suicide Prevention Education Program - Definitions - Grant requirements(1) As used in this section, "bureau" means the Bureau of Criminal Identification created in Section 53-10-201 within the Department of Public Safety.(2) There is created a Suicide Prevention Education Program to fund suicide prevention education opportunities for federally licensed firearms dealers who operate a retail establishment open to the public and the dealers' employees.(3) The division, in conjunction with the bureau, shall provide a grant to an employer described in Subsection (2) in accordance with the criteria provided in Subsection 26B-5-611(7)(b).(4) An employer may apply for a grant of up to $2,500 under the program.Amended by Chapter 250, 2024 General Session ,§ 17, eff. 5/1/2024.Renumbered from § 62A-15-103.1 and amended by Chapter 308, 2023 General Session ,§ 10, eff. 5/3/2023.Added by Chapter 440, 2019 General Session ,§ 4, eff. 5/14/2019.
