Section 3318a - Cooperative research projects; agreements with and receipt of funds from State and other agencies

On and after December 30, 1963, the Administrator of the Agricultural Research Service may enter into agreements with and receive funds from any State, other political subdivision, organization, or individual for the purpose of conducting cooperative research projects with such cooperators.

Department of Agriculture
The term "Department of Agriculture" means the United States Department of Agriculture.
agricultural research
The term "agricultural research" means research in the food and agricultural sciences.
extension
The term "extension" means the informal education programs conducted in the States in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture.
