The Secretary shall submit to the President and Congress by January 1 of each year a report on the Nation's agricultural research, extension, and teaching activities, and such report shall include-

- The term "Advisory Board" means the National Agricultural Research, Extension, Education, and Economics Advisory Board.
- Department of Agriculture
- The term "Department of Agriculture" means the United States Department of Agriculture.
- Secretary
- The term "Secretary" means the Secretary of Agriculture of the United States.
- agricultural research
- The term "agricultural research" means research in the food and agricultural sciences.
- extension
- The term "extension" means the informal education programs conducted in the States in cooperation with the Department of Agriculture.
