Section 3401 - Purpose

The purpose of this subchapter is to establish the national ocean exploration program within the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

L. 111-11 which enacted subchapter II of this chapter, could be cited as the "NOAA Undersea Research Program Act of 2009", was repealed by Pub. L. 117-263 title CIII, §10306(a), Dec. 23, 2022, 136 Stat. 3974.
