Section 309 - Office of Thrift Supervision

The Office of Thrift Supervision established under section 3(a)¹ of the Home Owners' Loan Act shall be an office in the Department of the Treasury.

TRANSFER OF FUNCTIONSOffice of Thrift Supervision abolished and functions transferred to the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency and the Comptroller of the Currency, and the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation by sections 5412 and 5413 of Title 12, Banks and Banking.
