Section 5129,Pub. L. 103-69, title I, §101A(a)5129,, 107 Stat. 699, provided that the entitlements of a former Speaker of the House of Representatives under sections 5125 to 5129 of this title would be available for 5 years.

EFFECTIVE DATE OF REPEAL Repeal applicable with respect to any individual who serves as a Representative in Congress during the One Hundred Fifteenth Congress or any succeeding Congress, see section 118(c) of Pub. L. 115-244 set out as a note under section 5125 of this title.
