Section, act Jan. 26, 1931, ch. 47, §2, 46 Stat. 1043, provided that the Secretary of the Interior had the authority to prescribe regulations for the surface use of any mineral land locations within the boundaries of the park.

STATUTORY NOTES AND RELATED SUBSIDIARIES

MINING RIGHTS EXISTING PRIOR TO SEPTEMBER 28, 1976 Section 3 of Pub. L. 94-429 provided in part that this section was repealed in order to close area to entry and location under the Mining Law of 1872, subject to valid existing rights.
