Section 58.827 - Discharge of Lien(a) On the final payment of the taxes, either the assessor and collector or the trustee shall issue a certificate certifying that the taxes have been fully satisfied and the lien is released.(b) The execution and acknowledgment of the certificate and the recording of the certificate in the deed records of the county in which the property is located shall be full and conclusive evidence of the discharge of the taxes and liens.Added by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 1537, ch. 627, Sec. 1, eff. 8/29/1977.
