Section 11.312 - Notice of Preliminary Determination; Copies(a) Promptly after the preliminary determination is made as provided in Section 11.309 of this code, the commission shall publish notice of the determination once a week for two consecutive weeks in one or more newspapers having general circulation in the river basin in which the stream or segment that is the subject of the adjudication is located.(b) The commission shall also send notice by first-class mail to each claimant of water rights within the river basin in which the stream or segment is located, to the extent that the claimants can be reasonably ascertained from the records of the commission.(c) Each notice shall state:(1) the place and the period of time that the preliminary determination and evidence presented to or considered by the commission will be open for public inspection;(2) the locations throughout the river basin where copies of the preliminary determination will be available for public inspection;(3) the method of ordering copies of the preliminary determination and the charge for copies;(4) the date by which contests on the preliminary determination must be filed.Amended By Acts 1985, 69th Leg., ch. 795, Sec. 1.025, eff. 9/1/1985.Amended by Acts 1977, 65th Leg., p. 2207, ch. 870, Sec. 1, eff. 9/1/1977
