(a) The fee for a commercial driver's license issued by the department is $96, except as provided by Subsections (f), (h), (j), (k), and (m).(b) The fee for a commercial driver's license shall be reduced by $4 for each remaining year of validity of a driver's license, other than a commercial driver's license issued by the department to the applicant.(c) The fee for a duplicate commercial driver's license or commercial learner's permit is $10.(d) An applicant who is changing a class of license, endorsement, or restriction or who is adding a class of vehicle other than a motorcycle to the license must pay a fee of $10 for the examination, except for a renewal or original issuance of a commercial driver's license.(e) The fees required by this chapter and collected by an officer or agent of the department shall be remitted without deduction to the department.(f) If a commercial driver's license includes an authorization to operate a motorcycle, the fee for the driver's license is increased by $8.(g) An applicant who is applying for additional authorization to operate a motorcycle shall pay a fee of $15 for the examination.(h) The fee for a commercial driver's license issued under Section 522.033 is $20.(h-1) The fee for the issuance or renewal of a commercial learner's permit is $24.(i) Except as provided by Section 662.011, each fee collected under this section shall be deposited to the credit of the Texas mobility fund.(j) The fee for issuance or renewal of a commercial driver's license is $25 for a license with an expiration date established under Section 522.054.(k) The fee for a non-domiciled commercial driver's license or a non-domiciled commercial learner's permit is $120. The fee for a temporary non-domiciled commercial driver's license is $20.(l) The fee for the administration of a skills test to a person who is not domiciled in this state is $60.(m) The fee for a commercial driver's license with a hazardous materials endorsement issued by the department is $60, except as provided by Subsections (h), (j), and (k).Tex.
