Section 9055.057 - Election Results(a) The board shall issue an order declaring the results of the annexation election.(b) If the order shows that a majority of the votes cast are in favor of annexation, the board shall annex the proposed territory to the district. The annexation is incontestable except within the time for contesting elections under the general election law.(c) A certified copy of the order shall be recorded in the deed records of the county in which the territory is located.Tex.
