Section 8502.006 - Dams and Reservoirs; Water Supply Contracts(a) The authority may construct, acquire, equip, acquire storage rights at, and operate dams and reservoirs that, in the opinion of the board, are useful in carrying out the powers conferred on the authority by this chapter, regardless of whether a dam is designed to serve a single purpose or multiple purposes.(b) The authority may provide water supply lines and water purification and pumping facilities.(c) The authority may execute contracts with municipalities in the state substantially in the manner prescribed by Section 552.020, Local Government Code, for districts organized or created under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, and may execute water supply contracts with other users of water.Tex.
