Section 62.125 - Action on Bond(a) A party making or holding a lien claim may not sue on the bond later than the last date on which a person may bring a suit to foreclose the lien under Section 62.062.(b) The bond is not exhausted by one action against it. Each named obligee or assignee of an obligee may maintain a separate suit on the bond in any district court for the county in which the commercial real estate is located.Added by Acts 1999, 76th Leg., ch. 1571, Sec. 1, eff. 8/30/1999.
