Section 651.256 - Examinations Required for Embalmer's License The commission shall administer or arrange for the administration of:
(1) a written professionally prepared examination on:(A) the anatomy of the human body, including:(i) the cavities of the human body; and(ii) the arterial and venous system of the human body;(B) blood and discoloration;(C) bacteriology and hygiene;(E) chemistry and embalming;(F) arterial and cavity embalming;(I) embalming special cases;(J) contagious and infectious diseases;(L) care, preservation, transportation, and disposition of dead human bodies;(M) sanitary science; and(N) other subjects that may be taught in a recognized school or college of mortuary science; and(2) a written examination developed by the commission or developed for the commission by contract on: (A) laws applicable to vital statistics pertaining to dead human bodies; and(B) local and state rules and laws relating to the care and disposition of dead human bodies.
