Section 605.257 - Temporary License(a) The department may issue a temporary license to an individual who: (1) has applied for a license as an orthotist, prosthetist, or both;(2) has regularly practiced orthotics, prosthetics, or both for the five years preceding the date of the application; and(3) has been licensed by a state that has license requirements that are equal to or exceed the requirements of this chapter.(b) A temporary license is valid for one year from the date issued.
