Section 602.055 - Terms; Vacancy(a) Members of the advisory committee serve two-year terms. The terms of the members expire on February 1 of each odd-numbered year.(b) A person is not eligible to serve more than two consecutive full terms.(c) If a vacancy occurs during a member's term, the president of the medical board shall appoint a person to serve for the unexpired term.Amended by Acts 2015, Texas Acts of the 84th Leg. - Regular Session, ch. 838,Sec. 2.056, eff. 9/1/2015.
