Section 201.453 - Malpractice Settlement Information and Expert Reports(a) The Texas Department of Insurance shall provide to the board any information received by the department regarding a settlement of a malpractice claim against a chiropractor.(b) An insurer who delivers or issues for delivery in this state professional liability insurance coverage to a chiropractor who practices in this state shall provide to the board a copy of any expert report served under Section 74.351, Civil Practice and Remedies Code, in a malpractice action against the chiropractor.Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 1020, Sec. 27, eff. 9/1/2005.
