Section 58.105 - Civil Penalty(a) A person who discloses genetic information in violation of Sections 58.102-58.104 is liable for a civil penalty not to exceed $10,000.(b) The attorney general may bring an action in the name of the state to recover a civil penalty under this section, plus reasonable attorney's fees and court costs.Added by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 728, Sec. 15.002, eff. 9/1/2005.
