Section 212.102 - Definitions In this subchapter:
(1) "Affected area" means an area that is: (A) in a municipality or a municipality's extraterritorial jurisdiction;(B) in a county other than the county in which a majority of the territory of the municipality is located;(C) within the boundaries of one or more school districts other than the school district in which a majority of the territory of the municipality is located; and(D) within the area of or within 1,500 feet of the boundary of an assessment road district in which there are two state highways.(2) "Assessment road district" means a road district that has issued refunding bonds and that has imposed assessments on each parcel of land under Subchapter C, Chapter 1471, Government Code.(3) "State highway" means a highway that is part of the state highway system under Section 221.001, Transportation Code.Tex.
