Section 418.004 - Subpoena Authority(a) The commissioner may issue a subpoena to compel the attendance and testimony of a witness or the production of materials relevant to an investigation of an offense under this chapter.(b) The commissioner may issue a subpoena under Subsection (a) regarding a witness or materials located in this state or in another state.Added by Acts 2017, Texas Acts of the 85th Leg. - Regular Session, ch. 463,Sec. 6, eff. 6/9/2017.
