Section 1251.351 - Common Carrier or Motor Vehicle Rental or Leasing Company(a) A blanket accident and health insurance policy may be issued to: (1) a common carrier or the operator, owner, or lessor of a means of transportation to cover a group of individuals who may become passengers defined by reference to their travel status on the common carrier or means of transportation; or(2) an automobile or truck rental or leasing company to cover a group of individuals who may become renters, lessees, or passengers defined by their travel status on the rented or leased vehicles.(b) The common carrier, the operator, owner, or lessor of a means of transportation, or the automobile or truck rental or leasing company is the policyholder under a policy to which this section applies.Tex.
