Tex. Ins. Code § 6001.301

Section 6001.301 - Criminal Penalty

(a) A person commits an offense if the person knowingly violates Section 6001.251(a).

(b) An offense under this section is a Class B misdemeanor.

(c) Venue for an offense under this section is in Travis County or the county in which the offense is committed.
