Section 4201.207 - Charges By Health Care Provider for Providing Medical Information(a) Unless precluded or modified by contract, a utilization review agent shall reimburse a health care provider for the reasonable costs of providing medical information in writing, including the costs of copying and transmitting requested patient records or other documents.(b) A health care provider's charges for providing medical information to a utilization review agent may not:(1) exceed the cost of copying records regarding a workers' compensation claim as set by rules adopted by the commissioner of workers' compensation; or(2) include any costs otherwise recouped as part of the charges for health care.Tex.
