Section 481.067 - Records(a) A person who is registered with the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration to manufacture, distribute, analyze, or dispense a controlled substance shall keep records and maintain inventories in compliance with recordkeeping and inventory requirements of federal law and with additional rules the board or director adopts.(b) The pharmacist-in-charge of a pharmacy shall maintain the records and inventories required by this section.(c) A record required by this section must be made at the time of the transaction that is the basis of the record. A record or inventory required by this section must be kept or maintained for at least two years after the date the record or inventory is made.Tex. Health and Safety Code § 481.067
