Section 300A.0002 - Definitions In this chapter:
(1) "Board" means the board of directors of a district.(2) "Director" means a member of the board.(3) "District" means a health care provider participation district created under this chapter.(4) "Institutional health care provider" means a nonpublic hospital that provides inpatient hospital services.(5) "Local government" means a hospital district, county, or municipality to which this chapter applies.(6) "Paying hospital" means an institutional health care provider required to make a mandatory payment under this chapter.(7) "Program" means a health care provider participation program authorized by this chapter.Tex.
