Section 283.051 - Gifts and Endowments(a) On behalf of the district, the board may accept gifts and endowments to be held in trust and administered by the board for the purposes and under the directions, limitations, or provisions prescribed in writing by the donor that are consistent with the proper management of the district.(b) The board may contract with the state to receive a payment or grant provided by the state for the care or treatment of hospital patients or patients in district facilities.Tex.
