Section 246.115 - Cease and Desist Orders; Injunctions(a) The board may request that the attorney general bring an action to prohibit a person from engaging in an act or practice and to order compliance with this chapter if the board determines, after a complaint or by other means, that the act or practice violates this chapter or an order made under this chapter.(b) The action may be brought in the district court of a county in which:(1) the defendant resides;(2) the defendant has done business;(3) the principal place of business of the defendant is located; or(4) the transaction occurred.(c) The court may grant an injunction or restraining order on a proper showing. If the court grants an injunction or restraining order, the court shall issue it without bond.Tex. Health and Safety Code § 246.115
