Section 42.012 - Contracts(a) The department may enter into contracts and agreements with persons, colleges, universities, associations, corporations, municipalities, and other units of government as necessary to carry out this chapter.(b) A contract may provide for payment by the state, within the limits of funds available, for material, equipment, or services.Tex.
