Section 844.307 - Cancellation of Disability Retirement(a) If the medical board finds that a disability retiree has experienced medical improvement to the extent that the retiree is no longer mentally or physically incapacitated, it shall certify its findings and submit them to the board of trustees.(b) In accordance with rules and procedures adopted by the board, the board of trustees may adopt the findings of the medical board and cancel the disability retirement and terminate annuity payments to the retiree.Tex.
