Subject to Sections 540.0701 and 540.0753, the commission shall expand the STAR+PLUS Medicaid managed care program to all areas of this state to serve individuals eligible for Medicaid acute care services and long-term services and supports. (Gov. Code, Sec. 533.00251(b).)
